Join us from 1–4pm for a relaxed and family-friendly spring foraging class where we’ll wander the trails learning about the wild foods and medicines growing all around us. We’ll focus on edible and medicinal mushrooms and plants, while also covering important look-alikes and safe and ethical harvesting practices.

Along the way we’ll explore spring plants and berries, sharing stories, uses, and practical knowledge of the land. This class is a great fit for families, hunters, outdoorsmen, or anyone wanting to deepen their connection to nature and learn skills that have been passed down for generations.

We’ll finish the afternoon with a simple cooking demonstration and a chance to sample a little of what we find, along with tips on storing, processing, and preparing your wild harvest at home.

The class will take place on a beautiful section of crownland 1 hour North of Edmonton
