Join us from 1–4pm for a relaxed and family-friendly summer foraging class where we’ll wander the trails learning about the wild foods and medicines growing all around us. We’ll focus on edible and medicinal summer mushrooms and plants, while also covering important look-alikes and safe and ethical harvesting practices.
Along the way we’ll explore plants and berries, sharing stories, uses, and practical knowledge of the land. This class is a great fit for families, hunters, outdoorsmen, or anyone wanting to deepen their connection to nature and learn skills that have been passed down for generations.
We’ll finish the afternoon with a simple cooking demonstration and a chance to sample a little of what we find, along with tips on storing, processing, and preparing your wild harvest at home.
