Winter First Aid

Ages 6 -18 (Parents and Siblings 5 and under are welcome to stick around at no cost)
This hands-on class empowers participants to feel confident, prepared, and connected to the natural world—even when the temperature drops. We will cover Cold Weather Emergencies: Learn how to identify signs of hypothermia, frostbite, and other cold-related illnesses, and know what to do when someone needs help. We’ll also explore how understanding and respecting nature is a key part of staying safe outdoors. Participants will develop a deeper appreciation for the land and learn how to enjoy Alberta’s winter landscapes responsibly.

What to Bring:
Weather Appropriate clothing (dress for colder that what the forecast calls for)
Snacks and plenty to drink
Kaykima requires at least 24 hours notice for cancellations to recieve a full refund. Anything outside of that may result in class credit refund.
