Valentine’s Day Couples Firecraft Class – Bowness Park (1–3pm)

Looking for a Valentine’s Day experience that’s a little different? Join us for a romantic and hands-on couples firecraft class in the heart of Bowness Park, one of Calgary’s most beautiful winter settings. From 1–3pm, you and your partner will learn the fundamentals of outdoor fire-building while slowing down, working together, and reconnecting through a shared experience.

This class is designed for couples—no prior experience needed. You’ll learn practical firecraft skills while working together as a team and putting your relationship to the test (just kidding...hopefully). We'll have a warming fire going as well as some chaga tea to warm up with. 

Before or after the class, make a day of it and check out the park’s café for a hot drink and/or bring your skates for a lap around the rink and skating trails.

Please dress for warmer than what the forecast calls for.

We will be meeting by Picnic Site 3, by the washrooms close to the playground.

I will have a warming fire going but if there is an extreme cold weather warning the class may be rescheduled. If you cannot make the new date you will be fully refunded. 

There will be hot chaga tea available so bring a reusable cup!
