This class will focus on all things edible, medicinal and useful that can be found in our local natural areas. As early June is often a great time to find Spring mushrooms including Morels, Verpas, and perhaps Oysters this class will be fungi focused. We will touch on proper identification as well as a look at any similar fungi that we may want to leave behind. That being said we will definitely be stopping for any plants or berries along the way. The last portion of the class will include a session on how to prepare wild fungi, berries and plants to ensure they are delicious and safe!
