Description

This 2 hour workshop will cover the basics of cutting tools, their uses and safety measures while using. For the majority of the workshop participants will practice using axes and knives to process wood from fuel to tinder. Participants are welcome to take home the tinder and kindling that they make to have for their next fire. 

Youth are welcome to bring their own fixed blade (non-folding) knife to use if desired, otherwise all tools and materials are provided.

 

Additional Info:

In the event of a weather watch or warning class will be rescduleed. If you cannot make the new date, refunds will be given. 

Dress for the weather, including closed toe footwear.

Bring snacks and drinks if needed.
