Participants will be constructing long term shelters, complete with a raised bed and firewall that can be used in all seasons. This will be followed by a workshop on how to start fires in wet and cold conditions using a variety of methods. The day will end with a look at winter survival foods and wild medicines that be a support in both a wilderness living and emergency survival setting.
