This full day class is geared to those who are interested in building on previous skills or those who are interested in a more wild and authentic wilderness skills experience. Participants will be constructing long term shelters, complete with a raised bed and firewall that can be used in all seasons. This will be followed by a workshop on how to start fires in wet and cold conditions using a variety of methods. The day will end with a look at winter survival foods and wild medicines that be a support in both a wilderness living and emergency survival setting. Please note that this class will include some heavy lifting and sawing.
It is open to all ages (5-18) however younger kids may need some support from parents.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
There will be a hot-tent (tent with a wood stove) on site where we will meet in for instruction and for some of the topics and to warm up in.
